What's New at OLOV

OLV +3

Some of our American citizens in general, are having a tough time making ends meet.  We are grateful for the real sacrifice they make each time they contribute to Our Lady of Victory.  We ask God's blessing on all who support the church.

On the other hand, despite current financial problems, America is a wealthy country, blessed by God with an abundance of worldly goods.  Oddly enough, professional fundraisers tell us that, even in good times, some of us cling to our wealth.  (For example, since the early 90's - one of the longest "boom" periods in American history - Catholics have decreased their charitable giving by almost half.)

On the Parish Finance Council, we think we can do better than that. 

We hope you are doing well.  We hope you are willing to share.  We hope you will choose to become an "OLV + 3" family, pledging to increase your regular weekly donation by just three dollars, about the cost of a McDonald's Happy Meal.

We can get through the tough times together!

Congratulations to Mike Saba.  He is this year's winner of the Thomas & Jennie Ayoob Memorial NAM Scholarship.  We are very happy and proud of you Mike.  May our good Lord bless you as you live and witness your faith and love of God.
